At Edwards Commercial Cleaning we have always said that our employees are like family. Our locally owned and operated business strives to focus on keeping your company clean and sanitized, while maintaining a strong family culture. When our owner, Ricky Edwards and his wife Sherry, faced the big task of moving her mother and father into a new home in North Carolina, our employees didn’t hesitate to lend a hand. What happened next was a beautiful reminder of what makes our company so special.
Everyone Pitched In
When Sherry’s mother and father decided to move from Virginia to North Carolina to be closer to her, a plan was put into place. From morning packing to an afternoon of unloading boxes, our employees showed up — not because they had to, but because they wanted to. Cars were loaded, furniture was carried, and laughter filled the air as the move turned into a true team effort. Leslie, Nicki, Josh, Bradley, and Jeremiah all pitched in, volunteering their time, to help the couple move into their new home.
More Than a Job
Moments like this remind us that a strong workplace culture isn’t built on policies or paychecks alone — it’s built on people who care. Our employees proved that compassion and teamwork extend far beyond the workday. Watching our employees come together is an example of the business atmosphere that Edwards strives to achieve, one of caring, community, and a desire to do the best for the businesses we clean, too.
We at Edwards Commercial Cleaning want to say a special thank you to all of our employees who helped to make this move a success, for volunteering your time, and for going above and beyond the duties of your daily job.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what makes a great business truly great — the people behind it.
